BRENNAN POOLE WINS UARA-STARS CHAMPIONSHIP

November 9th, 2011 -- Brennan Poole topped off a fantastic year in the UARA with the championship title which he actually sealed before the final race. Poole had enough of a points lead that his finish at Concord Motor Speedway sealed the championship for him, leaving his final race at Rockingham to be somewhat pressure-free. Brennan really wanted a win or at least a good run at the Rock, but engine failure early in the race would keep that from being a possibility. All in all, Brennan has to be happy with his 4 wins this season in the UARA and 13 top five finishes in 15 races! He ran strong and consistent all season. Brennan will be moving up to the ARCA series next year and we wish him the best! Congratulations to the entire team and Poole family for a fantastic season.

Running right behind Brennan Poole in the UARA points battle was rookie George Miedecke. George had a great rookie year with 8 top five finishes this season. He was crowned Rookie of the Year last weekend at the final UARA season race at Rockingham Speedway. In addition to his 8 top five finishes, George racked up 4 pole awards throughout the year. Although he was disappointed that he never got that first win, Miedecke was very happy with the finish to his season. He finished the year with a 6th place finish at Concord Motor Speedway and 4th at the Rock. Congratulations George on such an impressive rookie year!

We will be travelling to Myrtle Beach Speedway for the final big race of the year. We hope that you will be able to make it down to South Carolina to enjoy great weather and even greater racing.
